The Art Of Massage was established in 2010 by three women in a one room studio in Myers Park. Thanks to our wonderful community, we have now grown to include more rooms, more therapists, and a second location in Pilot Mountain! Our hope is through our combined passion for the industry and love of massage, we continue to grow and serve our community for years to come. We are proud to offer Myers Park the highest quality massages and the widest range of therapies around.

Her business expertise along with her personal regard for the fitness world sparked her passion for massage therapy. Her intuitive nature along with her desire to assist others lead her to this profession. Trisha specializes in a variety of techniques and focuses on treating each of her client's individual needs.

Erin studied Massage Therapy at South Piedmont Community College in Monroe, NC and graduated in 2002. She has 10 years of experience in the spa industry and is co-owner of The Art Of Massage. In July of 2010 she completed her training at the Yandara Institute in Todos Santos, Mexico and became a Registered Yoga Instructor.
After moving to Pilot Mountain in the spring of 2012, the 2nd location for The Art Of Massage was opened, including a yoga studio and classroom space for workshops. Erin specializes in Swedish, Ashiatsu Barefoot and Prenatal massage, teaches both private and group yoga sessions, and aromatherapy workshops at the Pilot Mountain studio. In September of 2012, she received her certification in Clinical Aromatherapy from Dr. Joie Powers and is very excited to add this complement to her practice. Erin looks forward to inspiring the healing and nurturing of many, at The Art Of Massage.

Melissa graduated from Everest University of Tampa, Florida in 2008 and has been a Licensed Bodywork Therapist for over 11 years. Melissa’s massage technique is influenced by her philosophical passion to blend evidence based practices with a holistic individualized approach for every client (using the biopsychosocial model). She recognizes that “touch” is a sacred
intimate avenue in building connection between two people and within oneself and she honors the strength and vulnerability that a client must have to navigate receiving touch.
Melissa has actively practiced various modalities such as Sweedish, Neuromuscular/Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Prenatal, and most commonly Fusion Massage where she
blends modalities to customize the technique by fusing relaxation with detailed therapeutic work. More recently, Melissa has started practicing basic sports cupping as a warm up technique for the soft tissue. In May of 2019, she attended the Tracey Walton & Associates continuing education program in Durham, NC and completed 32 hours of Intensive Oncology Massage training and plans to continue her Oncology training. Furthermore, she plans to include more comprehensive modalities by taking continuing education in touch for trauma, grief massage, PTSD training and holistic pain science & management.
